WHAT IS IT WITH REMOVING MASKS?!?!

I am sure that these film studio bosses have no directors available with any BALLS after seeing my latest super hero movie and the return of an old childhood favourite.

Or maybe someone needs to tell these actors they are NOT directors or producers?!

I do not know about you but I watched The Amazing Spider-Man, with Andrew Garfield or whatever his name was, recently and it was truly amazing...

...in that the entire population of New York had not realised who Spider-Man's secret identity was?!

DO these people (actors/directors) understand the concept of a secret identity? He used his power so bloody much to an audience and had his mask off while suited up so often that I had decided that the director thought the entire population of New York was deaf dumb and blind?!

Tobey Maguire torn mask at the end of his first spidey film and the train incident was bad enough, I could live with those. But for me a damn good film was ruined because that bloody mask has to keep coming off to remind movie viewers of who he is?! No your not bloody spider-man your just an actor playing the part? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD how DO these people get into movies in the first place is beyond me.

Do me a favour in future for any pompous self-centred big head actor if you are going to demand the mask off AT ALL, go and do another movie! Or wait for an offer for a hero that DOES NOT WEAR ONE!!

You are going to ruin a whole load of super hero movies because your heads are wayyyyyy too big!!!

People go to the cinema to watch the film, see their heroes, follow a story and see special effects they are not going to watch The [insert big headed actors name here] Show?! LMAO.

In the comics he wears a mask when he uses his powers, always! You could go 100 comics and not one other soul would see him without it, unless he is diving for cover at the time. So to not only see a mask-less Spider-Man half a dozen times in the course of just ONE MOVIE and use his powers while skateboarding in his casual clothes is not only bloody ridiculous it makes YOU look ridiculous!!

For God sake STOP IT and DIRECTORS GROW SOME BLOODY GONADS!!

Jesus Christ what IS with these people!

Right that is my royal rant done with, I feel a lot better now. At least until The Amazing Blind New Yorkers sequel, I mean Amazing Spider-Man 2 sequel that is. I think if I was a New Yorker and had just watched that movie I would have asked myself 'Wait!? What are we ... STUPID?!'

Let us hope that stop making assess of themselves before the takings start dropping like lead balloons and they destroy these comic book franchises and ruin it for everyone including themselves.

Umm does not take a great deal of working out now does it?!

OK NOW MY RANT IS OVER!! LOL!

NEW SUPERHERO MOVIE RUMOURS

Right OK what I have been seeing put about on the Internet...

New..

Fantastic Four  (Silver Surfer???)
The Wolverine (set in Japan with Silver Samurai)
Iron Man 3 (set in China with Mandarin)
X-MEN: Days of Future Passed (Sentinels)
The Inhumans (remember name only lol)
Guardians of the Galaxy
The Man of Steel
Venom (why?)
Ant-Man (hmm tempted to ask why but could be good and I do like Ants!)
Dr Strange (I hope they get Johnny Depp for this character?!)

Annoyed Green Lantern got slated as I was not a fan of the comics but loved the film!!

It is so hard to make this kind of movie and what with directors and story writers thinking that they are so genius that they can rewrite a classic tale only to then scre it up is bloody funny when you think of the money these things cost to produce?!

All they succeed in doing is screwing up an age old icon that then loses sales and puts off the studios from making any more of these movies then the actors and writers are battling with rivals for that which remains on the production table.

Talk bout shoot yourself in the foot?! Making loads of cash and your name in the credits alone is not enough and they ALWAYS seem to HAVE TO GAMBLE!!

Madness.

One thing good to say about Sony, well it used to tbe the case in that they would take none of this artistic big-headedness!! LOL.

Roll on 2013 and 2014!!!

Comic Book Films Intro, Whos Show Is it Anyway??

Never thought of this one?!

As a kid I loved the Marvel and DC comics and it has taken a long time but I have managed to see most of my favourite heroes on the big screen, and again and again for some!

I stopped reading comics a long time ago now, well I am 43!! But those days of reading those comics I have never forgotten, well OK mostly never forgotten!

Of the ones that were my absolute favourites were, AND IN ORDER OF FAVOURITES...

MARVEL

X-MEN
SILVER SURFER
SPIDER-MAN
ALPHA FLIGHT (NEW WOLVERINE AS PROJECT X)
AVENGERS
ROM

DC COMICS

SUPERMAN (DIDN'T EVERYONE?!)
JUSTICE LEAGUE
SHAZAM!
TEEN TITANS

These are the ones I can recall right now, lol.

You can imagine that talk of a Justice League film I find exciting. The new The Man of Steel film sounds great and I hope it is.

I only need a decent SHAZAM film and a decent rendition of the SILVER SURFER, where his powers are NOT linked to his board you morons lol, and it will be a perfect world?! Well that is if the new X-MEN Days of Future Passed (sounds like a Moody Blues album) does indeed contain the Sentinels and kick arse battles then I am done!! LOL.

I often thought ROM would make a good movie due to its eerie story and also I never read Ghist Rider but I did think it had potential and was amazed when it came out and I loved it to my surprise?! A shame as the second one looked even better but not enough of the Rider!!

It is odd how it goes in these films as you feel that the main actors seem to forget WHO is the star and the MAIN PROTAGONIST in the story and seem to become jealous of their super hero alter-egos!!! What?! Well do not do it then get someone else?! But no so you get these periods whereby they remain looking like ... well themselves or you get masks torn up, burned up and ripped off and all manner of things to allow the actors face to be seen instead of the hero everyone went to see?!

I do not know maybe it is just me but this seems lame to me, very lame and I have no idea how the film studios put up with it....

As the one common thing I hear in run down follow up movies is less and less of the action elements and therefore the heroes!!

Stupid, very stupid! Well here is a tip instead of royally screwing up the sequels then do not take part in the films that have masks or face altering metamorphoses going on?! Superman, anyone?? LMAO!

IT IS A COMIC BOOK OT THE [FILL WITH APPROPRIATE ACTORS NAME] SHOW?! lol. This will not get you brownie points with fans and will only serve for you to get slated on line by the fans of these characters.

Now you think that this would be obvious do you not? Well let us see in 2013 if they have learnt anything at all and if so let us pray that others that come forward for any other comic book character movies learn this lessons beforehand?!

We can all live in hope!!
